California Academy of Sciences...

I'd been interested in visiting the museum since they announced their grand opening day last month, but I wanted to wait until the crowd get settle. As it was Tuesday, we thought it was a good day to visit the museum. I got up early because Mark wanted to see the penguin's feeding show at 10:30 a.m. They were so cute.
We were at the museum for two hours checking the aquarium and the living roof. I hesitated to take photos as I didn't want to disturb the animal and the people in the museum.
These photos are my favorite marine animal that I'd like to share with you. The first one is a 58-year old alligator gar--seem like a shy fish looking straight at me behind the rocks. The second one is a group of alligator gar--I thought they look cool swimming together. The third one is the white alligator which is very unique. The next one is the giant sea bass, it has a big cute lips. I forgot what kind of these jelly fish--sorry. You may have to look carefully for the next one and tell me what it is.

I have to say, I'm always mesmerised by jellyfish and how translucent they are.

You're right, Nine. It's a that making itself look like a rock--amazing ha? I remembered I get so excited whenever I saw a frogfish when I went diving in Caribbean.

Y, they are cute--I don't know if they sting or not. :D
