I had no idea how easy and fun carving these pumpkins were until I did it. It was Mark's idea this year that he wanted to crave the pumpkin. We bought our beautiful pumpkins from Chinese market and got a tool kit from Safeway. Mark was very fast about turning his pumpkin into a ghost house since he'd done it many times, but it took me longer because I had to figure thing out first.

I have leftover pumpkin meat that can turn into a delicious dessert. I'll post the recipe soon--stay tune!

The carvings are beautiful! I love both designs compared to the traditional. Your cat pumpkin is very mischievous :-D
