kanom tokyo...

I know it sounds Japanese, which I think where this one is originally come from.

Ingredients:
4 servings

For the batter
- 70 g all purpose flour
- 5 g baking powder
- 3 g baking soda
- 30 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 60 g milk
- 3 g vanilla extract
- 2 g salt
- 25 g unsalted butter, melted

For the filling
- 100 g evaporated milk
- 100 g water
- 40 g sugar
- 5 g cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 20 g corn starch
- 15 g unsalted butter

Preparations:

For the batter
1. Sift all dry ingredients together.
2. Whip egg and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add vanilla and salt.
4. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately.
5. Add melted butter.
6. Spoon a batter and cook over medium heat on a greased pan.
7. Cook until the batter is almost set, spread the filling over.
8. Roll into a log and serve immediately

For the filling
1. Bring all ingredients to a boil over medium heat, except butter.
2. Lower the heat to low and continue whisking until the mixture is thickened.
3. Whisk in butter, then remove from the heat.

I don't know why it has the word "Tokyo" in it, but it's not Japanese. It's Thai.

Yes, House. She'll be on air this October. :)

Orchid64, I know it's Thai, but it might have a long history on this one though. :)

ก้อย, มีไส้ไข่นกกระทาด้วยเหรอ ยังไม่เคยลองอันนี้อ่ะ

Heather, you call it crepe. ;)

I love that lacy effect you have on the outside. How did you do that?

Irina, I put some batter into the bottle, then squeeze the batter over the greased pan.
