I didn't have huckleberries at home, so I used blueberries instead since they taste similar. I worked with two different recipes and adjusted the ratio of some ingredients to how I like it. Here's the recipe.
1
Ingredients:
- 100 g almond flour
- 70 g all purpose
- 220 g powdered sugar
- 2 g baking powder
- 150 g egg whites
- 200 g brown butter, melted
- 20 g invert sugar
- 10 g amaretto

1. Using a paddle, mix all dry ingredients together in a mixer.
2. Slowly mix in egg whites, then invert sugar.

3. Mix in brown butter, then amaretto.
4. Place into a piping bag and pipe into greased molds, then place some fresh huckleberries in.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, depending on the size.
