Hi! I'm a student at the French Culinary Institute here in NYC, and I enjoy reading your blog and looking at the gorgeous pictures. Since you're on your way here, I'd love to know your list of must see bakeries here in the city, as I'm a NYC transplant, and also any tips you might have for an aspiring chef. I should also tell you that when I was visiting SF, I stayed at the Hotel Adagio and ate at Cortez. Twice! I raved about that restaurant for months. I hope you have a fantastic vacation. Hi Grade B, thank you for stopping by. I'm planning to visit Chickalicious, Lady M and Bouchon for sure. There are many others patisseries in NYC that I'll have to check out too.
