pesto sauce...

Here's a classic pesto sauce recipe that I use for pasta, crepe, gnocchi and pizza.


- 2 cups fresh basil leaves
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/4 cup pine nuts
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper


1. In a food processor, blend together basil, garlic and pine nuts.
2. With the machine running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil.
3. Scrape down the sides of the machine and add the cheese, salt and pepper.
4. Pulse a few more times to blend.
