pesto sauce...

I was planning to make chicken pesto crepe on my day-off last week, but I couldn't find pine nuts at my local supermarket. Then Oh! Nuts emailed me and offered some of their product. I immediately asked for pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes  and peeled roasted chesnuts. Here's the recipe for a classic pesto sauce. I'll post the crepe's recipe tomorrow--stay tuned!

Ingredients:

- 100 g fresh basil leaves
- 3 cloves garlic
- 150 g extra virgin olive oil
- 50 g pine nuts
- 30 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 g salt
- 2 g ground black pepper

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients together in a food processor until fine.
