Taking better food photos is something anyone can learn and improve. It's about technique and practicing. I've written some tips that I learned for the past two years to share with beginners. Please check out the links below if you're interested to learn that how a simple setup with natural light can do.

Thank you Thip for your tips! I appreciate them as I am a newbie food blogger. I haven't been able to find a suitable setup like yours so I'm just taking my pictures in artifical light (oh no!).

How do you overcome the problem of casting a shadow when taking overhead photos?

Thanks in advance :)

Phuoc, with manual setting, it helps me to adjust the exposure and get rid of the casting. However, I sometimes use gimp to edit the photo.
