Market of Saint Joseph, Barcelona...

Barcelona is on the North Eastern coast of Spain--about 2 hours drive from the French boarder. Driving from Dijon, Lyon, Avignon to Barcelona was fun.

My sister, her husband and I stayed overnight at Etap in Avignon. Etap was very clean, comfortable and inexpensive. We spent 45 euro for triple beds--awesome, I'd recommend everyone to stay at Etap.

Here in Barcelona, we stay at Hotel Gabriel. It's a B&B, located in the heart of the city--right on La Rambla and close to the most famous market with fresh food from all over the world "Market of Saint Joseph". However it was difficult for us to find this place because the front door says "Hostal Turistol" instead of Hotel Gabriel--make sure you have the direction and contact number before you arrive. Gabriel is on the fifth floor and there is no elevator, so prepare to claim up with your luggage. The entry isn't inviting, but the apartment itself is lovely and stylish. The unit we stay is airy and very clean. I'd also recommend Gabriel. Anyway, I've been here for 3 days already and it's time to move on to the next city. I'll blog about the whole trip later. Adios!
